I'm Back... Again

Well, due to popular demand (thanks Mom, Dad, Kristen et al)

I'm back blogging, and training.

From now on I'll be posting the recipies to the recipie section of the blog and using this portion for my 'training' such that it is at this point.

Some months past I was fortuneate enough to get a slot in Ironman Canada. This is the ultimate goal. Obviously I've been living the good life, drinking, eating and the rest and I've managed to put on a bit of weight. No worries, it's coming off a tenth of a pound at a time.
Right now I'm running about 4x a week. Nothing big, but it's there. My shins hurt per usual, and I was dealt a major blow when Asics decided to "Upgrade" the shoe I run in. Now I get to scour the internet looking for the ones I like. I'm about to be the guy that has 4 pairs of running shoes in the closet - which is fine because I have that now - but they will all be in boxes waiting on me - which is weird.
No swimming. I could, but at this point it is a waste of time.
Running, well I told you. 4x or 5x a week because my shins hurt which means most of the time i'm on the dreadmill doing 30min which kinda sucks. Last winter I was at least outside but this year I'm kinda a wuss.
Biking. Well was it was sucking, but I got out tonight for about 25miles in the cold and very dark for the last bit. I missed it. No more trainer, rollers from now on, or outside -need more outside.
